The Wenglor Inox Sens range is expanded with a new set of laser sensors conforming to FDA regulations and equipped with Ecolab certification. In addition to the pharmaceutical and food sectors, the new sensors can be used in many other areas for quality control operations on the most versatile materials, including transparencies such as glass and plastic.
Thanks to the enclosure made of corrosion-proof stainless steel, Ecolab certification and fully compliant with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, the new P1HJ00X Series Fork Laser Sensors are an extremely effective solution for use in environments requiring high standards of cleaning, as in the pharmaceutical and food fields.
The sensors feature forks of various sizes, 50 to 200 mm, and are equipped with a collimated laser beam which allows accurate quality inspections in the order of microns.
"The precision of the new P1HJ00X sensors allows you to detect objects of even less than 40 μm, less than a human hair", says Elio Bolsi, general manager of Wenglor Sensoric Italiana. "Collimated laser beam causes non-conformities to be detected across the entire fork arm and not in a limited range, such as similar products on the market".
The Stainless Sens Sensor P1HJ00X series of light barriers consists of six models featuring forks of three different widths (50, 120 and 220 mm) and an optical glass cover or plastic material that can be customized according to the specific application needs. The stainless steel housing with its rounded design and perfect sealing allows you to meet all the toughest hygiene requirements. The form has been specifically designed to allow liquids, detergents and any contaminants to slip along the body of the sensor without leaving traces or residues, while ensuring the highest degree of protection (IP69K).
If the Sens Sensor P1HJ00X Sensor installation is a very simple operation, setting it even more. In fact, the calibration is done through the Touch Teach-in procedure, or by using an integrated calibration button in the hermetic enclosure.
At the application level, in addition to the Pharma and Food & Beverage sectors, Sens Sensors P1HJ00X can also be used in the packaging, paper and consumer goods industries.
The technology of the fork sensors can in fact be conveniently used where there are parts and / or objects in rapid movement on the production lines that need to be thoroughly inspected: bottles, cannulas, syringes, tapes, packs etc.. And not only.
The fields of application are so large that it includes the inspection of holes, notches, grooves, grooves of objects made in the most diverse materials, including transparent ones such as glass and plastic.
