Strategic Alliance between Interpack, Ipack, Ucima



Under the terms of the agreement, Interpack and Ipack-Ima will provide mutual support for their packaging fairs held in Düsseldorf and Milan, while UCIMA will support the international exhibitions of Messe Düsseldorf organized within the Interpack alliance.The aim of the partnership is to provide a reference network for companies operating in the processing and packaging sector. The partners have now signed specific agreements defining the details of the partnership, which has already been announced in interpack 2017 preview.

 

The collaboration with Ipack-Ima includes communication activities through websites, mailing, brochures, press conferences and stand-ups aimed at enhancing the mutual promotion of interpacks in Düsseldorf and Ipack-Ima in Milan. "Ipack-Ima is one of the most important trade fair at European level and boasts some sectoral leaderships such as the Pasta or Milling Industry" said Bernd Jablonowski, Global Portfolio Director Processing and Packaging at Messe Düsseldorf. "Collaboration with interpacks and the interpack alliance, which boasts operations in the main markets, will increase the visibility of our event by offering new opportunities for encounter and added value to exhibitors and fairs visitors. The companies need to innovate continuously, and for this reason exhibitors will propose new technologies" says Ipack-Ima Riccardo Cavanna.

The aim of the collaboration with UCIMA, the Italian association of manufacturers of automatic packaging and packaging machines, is to provide exclusive support to international processing & packaging events organized by the interpack alliance in China, India, Iran and Russia. "With this important agreement - says UCIMA president Enrico Aureli - our companies will be able to count on a network of events where they promote their technologies in some key markets for Made in Italy. At the same time, we will contribute with our involvement in enhancing the interpack alliance by making its events more and more attractive to world operators." "It is well known that German and Italian packaging machines are world leaders. Through the collaboration we strengthen this primacy for the benefit and service of our customers" concludes Jablonowski.

 

UCIMA will recruit potential visitors and will also organize the official participation of Italian collective companies in national pavilions at the international trade shows of the interpack alliance in China (swop), India (pacprocess India, food pex India, indiapack), Iran (pacprocess Teheran) and Russia (upakovka) while Honegger Gaspare Srl, the historic representative of Messe Düsseldorf for Italy, will be responsible for organizing the participation of individual Italian exhibitors.
