The wide range of pressure gauges offered by KELLER, in particular with transmitters equipped with a dual sensor for the measure of differential pressure and line pressure , is capable of performing high-precision measurements and high overload resistance.
With more than 600,000 sensors sold annually, KELLER, a multinational company headquartered in Winterthur, Switzerland, is the world's largest manufacturer of pressure sensors based on the piezoresistive principle. Three hundred thousand sensors per year are processed at the factory to be supplied as a base of industrial transmitters, level transmitters, digital pressure measuring instruments and independent data sensors.
KELLER sensors ensure high precision and flexibility by adapting to a variety of industrial sectors, thanks to a competent and qualified technical office, working closely with the customer to produce customized sensors based on the specific request.
VERY HIGH PRECISION
The KELLER, with the PRD-33 X Series, equipped with a double sensor for differential and line-independent measurement, is capable of performing high-precision measurements and high overload resistance. The combination of these features opens up new possibilities, such as the measurement of levels in liquefied gas tanks in safe conditions, with a high level of precision and low cost.
The PRD-33 X transmitter guarantees a particularly high level of precision, up to + -0.05% FS, thanks to its calibration with respect to the global pressure range and temperature range. The calculated mathematical model corrects all the repeatable errors, so the high level of precision is guaranteed in an error band included in the general compensated field. The oscillating mounting of the sensor unit provides the ideal protection from the external forces during the installation.
PRESSURE TANKS
Pressure tanks need special requirements for pressure transmitters. Closed systems require two measurements to establish the level: one for tank pressure and the other for fluid pressure. Thanks to the two sensors, the PRD-33 X transmitter can perform these measurements in one operation. All parts of the transmitter that come into contact with the environmental element are made of high quality materials such as AISI 316L stainless steel, silicone, gold and silicon. Therefore, the PRD-33 X transmitter is perfect for use with oxygen, argon, nitrogen, helium and carbon dioxide (liquid state).
Requirements become even wider with liquefied cryogenic gases. Tanks less than three meters can have a differential pressure range of just 200mbar, with a line pressure up to 32 bar. With the line pressure compensation of 0 ... 40 bar, the PRD-33 X transmitter can easily withstand this challenging combination.
When filling the tank or using the valve, all tank pressure can press on one side of the differential pressure transmitter. The PRD-33 X transmitter also performs well in the presence of an uneven burst of 32 bar, resulting in an overload resistance of + -35 bar.
EASY TO CONFIGURE
The PRD-33 X transmitter can be supplied with several electronic connections and has an RS485 digital interface. In addition to the operating values of the two pressure sensors, the specific interface provides additional information such as pressure ranges, filter settings, and serial numbers. The software provided by KELLER with the PRD-33 X transmitter allows you to easily configure and monitor your device and save data easily. The use of the transmitter in combination with an indicator or data transfer module further extends the range of functions as well as the range of applications available.
