As part of wine2wine 2017, the preview of the new exhibition dedicated to the technologies, machinery and equipment of the wine & beverage sector is scheduled on December 4 and 5, 2018.
WI∙BEV is the new double-plate trade show, Parma and Verona, dedicated to the wine and beverage technology sector, a sector which weighs 3.6 billion euros just for machinery, equipment and technology for viticulture and oenology, of which 70% derive from export (Istat 2016 data source).
The preview of the International Wine & Beverage Technologies Event, co-organized by Parma and Veronafiere Fairs, led by Gian Domenico Auricchio and Maurizio Danese respectively, is scheduled from 4 to 5 December 2017 in the dress of wine2wine, the platform of updating, training and networking of Vinitaly-Veronafiere to support entrepreneurship in the wine sector. The new review is already on the agenda from 4 to 5 December 2018.
The collaboration between Veronafiere and Fiera di Parma is historic. From Vinitaly Cibus to Russia and China in the first decade of the Twentieth Century, to the recent joint ventures in the USA under the umbrella of the Made in Italy promotion plan of MISE, implemented by ICE-Agency, until the latest edition of Sol & Agrifood (review of ' quality food that takes place each year in conjunction with Vinitaly) with Cibus Connect.
"The partnership with Parma is functional for two trade fair organizations that represent the respective exhibitions of Made in Italy, both in terms of export value and image of the country system. At the same time, this agreement strengthens the competitiveness of the Italian trade fair system as a lever for the business of its customers, which are primarily small and medium-sized companies and large industrial groups. Veronafiere is the first direct organizer in Italy and with Vinitaly has created a network system that expands both internationally with Vinitaly International, its Academy, wine2wine for training and networking, and embraces the world of cellar technology and the crusher with Enolitech. With this operation we aim to offer our business world of reference an opportunity promoted by two specialized players in their respective subfunds" said Giovanni Mantovani, general manager of Veronafiere Spa.
"WI∙BEV, will be an event that will bring the exhibition moment to the direct confrontation between industry companies, machine and plant suppliers and engineer technicians. From the point of view of the layout, it will capitalize on the "smart" aspects of Cibus Connect's innovative experience - emphasizes Antonio Cellie, Parma's Trade Fair Manager - by associating it with a program of specific and targeted insights into the technical and productive sector of the wine-making industry . Strategic is also the WI BEV calendar location after the time of harvest, that is, at a time of year that allows Northern Hemisphere wine companies to participate in the event without penalizing the production agenda. The Italian range of machines and equipment for the wine sector, both in the field and in the cellar, is at the forefront and continues to innovate to meet the increasing demand for quality and efficiency from around the world. That's why we created Wi-Bev, another annual platform for the support and promotion of Made in Italy organized by Verona and Parma, the two leading national Food & Beverage fairs. "
WI∙BEV - International Wine & Beverage Technologies Event (www.wibev.com) - is an initiative that expands the concept of exhibition fair, proposing it as a meeting place and a comparison between the best wine and beverage companies in the wine sector, distillation and of the beverage and the users of the supply chain.
The objective is to accelerate understanding of innovations and their introduction into the production cycle, in order to increase the quality and competitiveness of companies.
The concomitance with wine2wine allows for synergy with a well-established meeting and training session that sees the participation of 1,500 wineries in over 70 workshops with more than 100 international speakers. To ensure the quality of the contents, the WI∙BEV enological field uses the scientific advice of Assoenologi.
