The ability to adapt to different kinds of packaging, to perform a larger number of operations in shorter timeframes and solve specific labelling needs while integrating into existing lines are important characteristics for a potential client evaluating a new labelling system, especially in the case of food products which by their nature require special attention and very rapid production processes.
Amongst the solutions showcased at IPACK-IMA (hall 14 stabd G38/F37) will be those of ALTECH, an Italian manufacturer of industrial labelling machines for a wide range of sectors with subsidiaries in the UK, the USA and South America and more than 80 distributors worldwide.
Al.Tech labelling machines
Thanks to its extensive experience in the packaging sector, ALTECH will be showcasing a wide range of machinery for materials labelling and identification, all tailored to customers’ specific needs. Visitors will have a chance to discuss the most effective and high-performance solution for their lines together with the technicians present at the company’s stand.
These include: front and rear labelling of cylindrical, flat and elliptical products (ALline E/C linear system); above and below labelling (ALbelt system in two sections); in-phase wraparound labelling thanks to a special device with 3 rollers; semiautomatic labelling of cylindrical products (ALmatic C); real-time label printing and application with touchscreen panel management; the ALcode P real-time print&apply system for label application (A5 format) on two sides of a pallet; and the new ALcode model equipped with a special vacuum belt applicator for high-speed label application.
ALTECH will also be displaying labelling heads designed to be easily installed on existing packaging machines such as the ALritma T model print&apply system, the new ALstep ultracompact model designed for very small spaces, and the ALstep label applicator with control box equipped with a new aluminium profile casing.
