Easy pack and Rocket - innovative packaging system by ACMI

ACMI SpA is an italian company specialized in production of high technology bottling and packaging turnkey end-of-line for food and bevarge industry.

The company, based in Fornovo Taro (Parma), started up in 1984 as a manufacturer of palletisers and depalletisers, and went on to specialize in all packaging processes.

Easypack

Easypack is an innovative packaging system which does not use glue or shrink wrapping to pack together several products. Easypack forms the packs using special, fully printable and customizable bands of extensible material called “sleeves” that are place around the products. The group of products formed in this way is called a multipack.

Rocket

Rocket is a rotating pallet stretch wrapped based on robotic SCARA technology. It consist of a single, robust column that supports the pre-stretching unit and top presser and can, if required, also carry the top cover application system. The efficiency of this system revolves aroud the electronics pre-stretching unit that is able to vary continuously the film pre-stretching level. This stretch wrappen can reach a top speed of 130 pallets per hour.
