Carle & Montanari – OPM and CM-FIMA at IBA 2018



Carle&Montanari-OPM and CM-FIMA, representing Sacmi's Food Division. With over 110 years' experience in designing chocolate processing solutions, the two companies offer no less than five product lines which include machines for cocoa processing and the moulding, wrapping and primary/secondary packaging of chocolate.

The product range is as broad as it is diversified. It spans from individual machines and complete lines for chocolate preparation (mixers, pre-refiners, refiners, conches and temperers) to intermittent and continuous-motion moulding lines and a complete series of depositors (piston and rotary) for aerated and non-aerated chocolate masses, suitable for all processing types (solid, solid with ingredients, one shot and filled products).

 

Next Cavemil Carle MontanariOn the Moulding side, the intermittent and continuous moulding lines range, covering 275, 425, 650, 850, 1000 and 1200 sizes, has been updated with the introduction of NEXT CAVEMIL, the new intermittent chocolate moulding line, with a modern design in an aluminium frame, based on hygienic concepts to facilitate cleaning and maintenance. Completely servo-controlled for a synchronized chain movement, the NEXT CAVEMIL has totally covered modules which guarantee product and operator safety, and, thanks to a new technology for thermo-acoustic insulation, significantly reduced noise.

 

The range of monostyle and multistyle high speed WRAPPING machines from CM-FIMA for any kind of chocolate pralines, bars and hollow figures, has been completed by the new S-Pack, an innovative machine for hermetic wrapping napolitains and small chocolate bars in an envelope-like wrap with single material plus tear tape for easy opening (up to 400ppm). This innovative, patent pending, design is able to ensure a high level of product protection for a longer shelf-life while maintaining the appearance of a traditional bar wrap.

 

In the Primary Packaging business, besides the horizontal flow-wrappers JT PRO and JT EVO for chocolate bars, their versions for biscuits in stacks and on slugs, here it comes the new JT-DualPRO, a dual lane horizontal flowrapper, which in a reduced space (it’s just a bit larger than a single flowpack), allows a double output rate, with just one operator. The JT-Dual PRO can be fed by a CMOPM biscuit stacking loader, equipped with linear motors, in order to pack biscuits on stacks.

As a completion of the Secondary Packaging range, including the TLX and TLP trifunctional cells, the WA wrap-around machines and the FAST PICKER cells, now there’s the new SmartCell, the multifunctional cell with an easy and fast preparation of the bundle and a fully automatic change-over, managed only through a panel.
