Intergen - specialized in the design and construction of cogeneration plants and exclusive dealer for over 30 years of MWM engines (MotorenWerke Mannheim) - presented the new TCG 3016 endothermal engines of the German company.
The new TCG 3016 range, which replaces and improves the current engines of the TCG 2016 range, future pulsating hearts of the Intergen cogenerators, will be available in natural gas and biogas versions with sizes from 400 kWe, 600 kWe and 800 kWe.
"The technological advancement of the MWM machines represents new opportunities and significant advantages for our cogeneration plants" says Luca Beccarelli, Marketing & Sales Director of the Italian company: "The wide range of premium engines with powers ranging from 400 to 4,300 kWe allows us to design increasingly efficient cogeneration solutions, customized and tailored to meet the energy needs of individual customers".
Non plus ultra of the endothermic engines, the models of the TCG 3016 series ensure efficiency without equal and high performance, which translates into a reduction in operating costs. One of the most important changes is the life of the engine before the most important maintenance work, the major overhaul, which has been extended to 80,000 engine hours. The machines are also among the best performing on the market, reaching 43.4% of electrical efficiency, 44.7% of the thermal one and the resulting total efficiency of 88.1%.
Intergen guarantees a competent and specialized presence for scheduled and corrective maintenance activities on German engines and offers a widespread management of original spare parts made available throughout the country within 24 hours. Intergen technicians are always up-to-date through a constant training program that is reflected in the company's ability to reach contracted cogeneration plants with availability even over 98% of the hours required by the customer.
"The long-term collaboration with MWM and the investments made in recent years" concludes Luca Beccarelli "have allowed us to optimize the maintenance service and offer a high quality customer service, allowing to maximize the hours of operation of the machines and to increase the profitability of cogeneration plants, to the benefit of the saving generated by the self-production of electricity and heat. "
From 1 January 2018 the company name changed from IML Impianti Srl to Intergen Spa
